The Counting Coral Team has been journeying to Fiji, an island country in the South Pacific Ocean made up of an archipelago of more than 330 islands, and known for its magnificent and diverse reef ecosystems. We engage in partnerships with the local owners of the reefs, as well as the resorts that provide a getaway in these areas.

The team spends up to two months under the surface - installing and stabilizing the large unique sculptural gene banks onto the sea floor. We then meticulously select and plant rare corals, environmentally superior corals, and corals of opportunity - each serving a crucial purpose and in need of urgent preservation. We are currently in the process of fully documenting this remarkable journey, including our interactions with inspiring individuals whose minds fuel our passion, provide valuable assistance, and are actively engaged in ventures that promote conservation within our field.
